We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Service Assistant for our client based in Loughborough on a full time and permanent basis.
Location: Loughborough
Job Type: Full time, permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break
Salary: Circa 28K per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Service Coordinator with service-related enquiries received by telephone and through IT systems.
- Support the planning, scheduling and delivery of customer service work.
- Act as a helpful point of contact for customers, responding to enquiries and ensuring their needs are dealt with promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of customer services, service schedules and system updates.
- Ensure service documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Monitor service appointments and help coordinate work to ensure services are delivered on time and to customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with internal teams and external service providers to support seamless service delivery.
- Help resolve service-related issues, escalating concerns where required.
- Assist with service reports, customer updates and general administrative duties.
- Provide wider administrative support, including scheduling meetings, maintaining files and managing correspondence.
