On behalf of our Sheffield based client we are currently recruiting for a Panel Wirer on an ongoing temporary basis.
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week Mon-Fri. O/T possible on Saturdays
Pay: c£16.00 per hour
The job:
- Assembly of electrical switchgear and related equipment
- Reading and following engineering drawings and production notes
- Maintain high-quality standards
- Working from technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to ensure accurate assembly
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Support other team members, share expertise and best practice
- Report any malfunctioning, or defective parts. This is not an exhaustive list. Other duties may be included at the discretion of the department manager.
You:
- Good knowledge and technical skills in wiring and assembling electrical panels
- Ability to read, interpret and follow schematic diagrams accurately
- Knowledge of Electrical systems
- An understanding of electrical regulations such as 18th Edition
- Experience in electrical manufacturing or similar
