We are currently partnering with a successful and growing international food manufacturing business to recruit a Quality Compliance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced quality professional to take ownership of compliance, food safety, and quality systems while leading and developing a high-performing QC team.

Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will take ownership of quality systems, lead a small team, and champion a positive food safety culture throughout the operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all quality compliance and food safety activities across site
  • Develop and mentor a QC team of 6, driving performance and engagement
  • Manage internal audits, GMP audits, and hygiene audits
  • Oversee QHSE systems, action logs, and compliance deadlines
  • Handle customer complaints, including root cause analysis and CAPA
  • Manage non-conformance processes and ensure timely close-out
  • Monitor microbiological trends and implement preventative actions
  • Ensure pest control and calibration processes meet required standards
  • Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) ensuring compliance
  • Maintain and improve quality documentation and systems
  • Drive a strong food safety culture across the site
Quality Compliance Manager Skills
  • Proven experience in food manufacturing quality management
  • Strong knowledge of BRC / BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, QHSE
  • Experience with internal audits and compliance systems
  • Skilled in root cause analysis, CAPA, and non-conformance management
  • Strong leadership experience – team management & coaching
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management ability
  • Hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
