Position: Commercial Vehicle Body Builder Location: Sheffield Pay: £13.50 upwards DOE Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (3:00 PM finish on Fridays) Type: Temporary (potential perm after 12 weeks) We are seeking to recruit a skilled Commercial Vehicle Body Builder to join or clients team. This role will be based on-site in Sheffield, with the opportunity for a permanent position after 12 weeks. The ideal candidate will have: · Experience with MIG welding, and proficiency in using all related welding equipment. · A background in vehicle body building is essential. · Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings. · A UK Driver\’s License is required, and an HGV license is a bonus. · Ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines and customer requirements. Responsibilities: As a Commercial Vehicle Body Builder, you will: · Manufacture and assemble bespoke bodywork including tippers, plant vehicles · Interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide your work. · Perform MIG welding and assemble vehicle body components. · Utilise a variety of welding tools, hand tools, and power tools to complete tasks. · Contribute to sub-assembly work, as well as refurbishments and new vehicle builds.
