Stafforce Recruitment are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing precision engineering business in Rotherham, who are looking to add an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer to their expanding machining team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern CNC facility working with Haas and Hankook multi-axis lathes, producing both prototype and production components for a specialist engineered product range. The role includes programming and machining using Fusion 360 CAM software and Fanuc controls.
The Role
- Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes including Haas DS-30Y, ST-40 and VTL1400
- Producing high-quality components to strict tolerances and specifications
- Working from detailed engineering drawings and CAD models
- Using Fanuc controls and editing/creating programs using G & M Code
- Carrying out quality checks using precision measurement tools
- Supporting a safe, clean, and efficient working environment (H&S and housekeeping)
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience programming and setting CNC turning machines (multi-axis)
- Strong knowledge of Haas / Fanuc programming (G-code & M-code)
- Proficiency using Autodesk Fusion 360 (CAM)
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models
- Experience machining stainless steel and working in high-precision environments
- Confidence using measurement equipment such as micrometers, verniers, gauges, and CMM
- A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and safety-first mindset
Hours
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm
