Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
We are currently seeking an Outbound Warehouse Operative with FLT to join one of our clients who have a busy and growing team in Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and organised individual with experience in dispatch and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the Goods out area efficiently and accurately
- Preparing and dispatching orders in line with customer requirements
- Booking shipments and inputting data onto courier portals
- Using warehouse management systems (WMS) and general PC systems
- Operating Counterbalance (CB) forklifts with a focus on safety and accuracy
- Ensuring all dispatch documentation is completed correctly
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance (CB) forklift licence
- Proven experience using Gas-powered forklift trucks
- Strong experience working within a goods out / dispatch environment
- Confident using a PC for data entry and dispatch systems
- Good attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
- A proactive and reliable attitude
