We are recruiting for an experienced structural steel fabricator welder to join a busy well-established Structural steel company based in Scunthorpe.

Job Role:

  • Fabricate and weld structural steel to engineering drawings
  • Carry out MIG welding to a high standard
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Assemble and prepare steel components for production
  • Use fabrication tools and machinery safely and effectively
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in structural steel fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with MIG welding (coded welding advantageous)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality of work
  • Good understanding of health & safety in a fabrication environment
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required
