We are recruiting for a well-established structural steel fabrication company, delivering high-quality steelworks solutions across a range of projects. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join a busy team.
Job Role:
- Fabricate and weld structural steel to engineering drawings
- Carry out MIG welding to a high standard
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Assemble and prepare steel components for production
- Use fabrication tools and machinery safely and effectively
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets
Requirements:
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication (structural steel preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with MIG welding (coded welding advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and quality of work
- Good understanding of health & safety in a fabrication environment
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
