We are working on behalf of a Global company dedicated to designing, manufacturing and marketing comprehensive solutions. They are committed to innovation and quality and are present in more than 40 countries. We are looking to hear from experienced Quality Assurance Officers to join their team. This is a permanent role and will report to the Quality Director.
Responsibilities
- Fulfilment of product inspections during the manufacturing process and at the end to ensure customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions in response to quality issues and non-conformities.
- Conduct regular audits of processes, systems, and products to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Visits to suppliers to ensure the compliance of the quality standards.
- Carrying out of tests in accordance with the European normative for refuse containers (EN-840/5).
- Inspection of raw and recycled materials on reception. Laboratory tests (MFI, Humidity).
- Management of non-conformities in the factory.
- Management of supplier's quality complaints.
- Follow-up and carrying out of actions to increase recycling material consumption.
- Test equipment calibration and/or internal verification.
- Products and processes improvement proposals.
- Management of quality complaints from our UK clients (analysis, resolution, corrective action plans - including visits).
- Checking the correct environmental performance in the plant.
Requirements and skills
- 3 years' experience in quality control or related roles (essential).
- Degree in quality management or related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of control material equipment use (essential).
- At least 2 years' experience in manufacturing (essential).
- Knowledge of plastic materials (highly valued).
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards, regulations, and best practices, such as ISO 9001 & 14001 (highly valued).
- Environmental normative knowledge (highly valued).
- Spanish language knowledge (highly valued).
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00 - £34,000 per year (DOE)
Bonus: performance bonus
