Job Role:
- Lead and supervise a team across warehouse and dockside operations
- Oversee loading and unloading of vessels (stevedoring duties)
- Ensure safe and efficient cargo handling and movement
- Operate FLT (B1 Counterbalance) and other MHE when required
- Manage goods in/out, stock control, and dispatch activities
- Monitor and drive team performance and productivity (KPIs)
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations
- Conduct briefings, training, and mentoring of staff
- Liaise with port operations, transport, and management teams
- Support continuous improvement within warehouse and dock processes
Requirements:
- Valid FLT B1 (Counterbalance) licence
- Proven experience in stevedoring / dockside operations
- Previous Team Leader or Supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics processes
- Excellent knowledge of health & safety in a port/industrial environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding role
- Strong communication and leadership skills
