We are currently recruiting Terminal Drivers to join our team at GB Terminals (Northern) Limited. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for flexible work within a busy automotive port environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving client vehicles around the terminal and port site.
- Transporting vehicles from GBA designated port locations.
- Placing promotional materials and flyers inside vehicles before dispatch.
- Conducting duties safely and professionally at all times.
- Following all site procedures, traffic management systems, and safety regulations.
Hours of Work
- Standard Shift: 08:00am - 4:30pm
- 30-minute unpaid break
- 8 hours paid per shift
- Shifts are allocated daily or weekly depending on vessel movements and operational requirements.
- Shift availability will be communicated verbally or electronically by your local representative.
Pay & Benefits
- £12.89 per hour (Weekdays)
- Holiday entitlement: 28 days including bank holidays
- 31 days including bank holidays
- Full site induction provided on your first day.
Training
- Full induction and site-specific training provided before commencing duties.
Health & Safety
- Successful candidates must follow all instructions provided during site induction.
- Adhere to all on-site speed limits and traffic regulations.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Maintain a safe working environment for themselves and others.
