The Role
We are seeking a driven and ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. This is a full 360-degree recruitment role, offering the opportunity to manage the entire recruitment cycle while developing your own client base and candidate network.
You will be responsible for business development, candidate sourcing, client management, and successfully placing candidates into a variety of vacancies across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into active accounts.
- Advertise vacancies effectively across job boards, social media platforms, and other recruitment channels.
- Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates for suitable opportunities.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy brief through to placement.
- Negotiate terms of business, fees, and candidate offers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using CRM and ATS systems.
- Consistently meet and exceed individual and team performance targets.
Person Specification
Essential
- Previous experience within recruitment or a fast-paced sales environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and self-disciplined.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident in using Microsoft Office and CRM/ATS systems.
Desirable
- Knowledge of the local North East employment market.
- Experience recruiting within sectors such as construction, logistics, engineering, or manufacturing.
- Full UK driving licence.
