Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Friday, 17:45 - 05:45.

Stafforce are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Loading Shovel Operative to join a busy operations team based in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plant operative looking to work a permanent night shift pattern.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out pre-start checks on loading shovel and plant equipment.
  • Report and document any defects or maintenance issues.
  • Safely operate a loading shovel to support site operations.
  • Feed materials through processing machinery.
  • Refuel loading shovel and associated plant equipment.
  • Move, maintain and manage stockpiles.
  • Complete cleaning and housekeeping duties across the site.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
  • Comply with site rules, procedures and company policies.

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid externally accredited Loading Shovel Licence.
  • You will be an experienced and safety-conscious Loading Shovel Operative who is comfortable working nights in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • You will take pride in maintaining equipment, adhering to site procedures and supporting the smooth running of operations.
