Stafforce are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Loading Shovel Operative to join a busy operations team based in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plant operative looking to work a permanent night shift pattern.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out pre-start checks on loading shovel and plant equipment.
- Report and document any defects or maintenance issues.
- Safely operate a loading shovel to support site operations.
- Feed materials through processing machinery.
- Refuel loading shovel and associated plant equipment.
- Move, maintain and manage stockpiles.
- Complete cleaning and housekeeping duties across the site.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Comply with site rules, procedures and company policies.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid externally accredited Loading Shovel Licence.
- You will be an experienced and safety-conscious Loading Shovel Operative who is comfortable working nights in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- You will take pride in maintaining equipment, adhering to site procedures and supporting the smooth running of operations.
