Stafforce Ports is supporting a number of fantastic clients across the UK and Ireland, with immediate opportunities available right now.

We're seeking engineers with at least 3 years' experience gained in industries such as:

  • Stadium Operations
  • Heavy Engineering
  • Onshore Engineering Support

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineer to join our client operating within the marine and engineering sector.

This is a full-time, site-based position in Liverpool where you will be providing technical and engineering support to operational activities.

You will work closely with the engineering teams, , suppliers, operational personnel and stakeholders to help ensure the safe, efficient and compliant operation of vessels, equipment and associated assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering and technical support to operational activities.
  • Assist with maintenance planning and scheduling.
  • Coordinate repairs and support asset performance monitoring.
  • Liaise with vessel crews, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to resolve engineering issues.
  • Maintain accurate technical records and documentation.
  • Support compliance with safety procedures, engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with fault finding and troubleshooting activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and procedures.
  • Support the optimisation of shoreside engineering systems and documentation.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within marine, mechanical, electrical, welding, industrial or heavy engineering environments.
  • Technical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with a range of stakeholders.
  • A recognised engineering qualification degree level is desirable.
  • Experience using maintenance management systems would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of engineering standards, safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Work like balance - Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
  • Call out Only 1-4
  • Paid time and half if called outside of standard hours
  • Paid Double time if called out on Bank holidays
  • 33 days holiday
  • Onsite Parking

Candidates must have legal right to work within the UK and be able to commute daily to site
