We're seeking engineers with at least 3 years' experience gained in industries such as:
- Stadium Operations
- Heavy Engineering
- Onshore Engineering Support
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineer to join our client operating within the marine and engineering sector.
This is a full-time, site-based position in Liverpool where you will be providing technical and engineering support to operational activities.
You will work closely with the engineering teams, , suppliers, operational personnel and stakeholders to help ensure the safe, efficient and compliant operation of vessels, equipment and associated assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and technical support to operational activities.
- Assist with maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Coordinate repairs and support asset performance monitoring.
- Liaise with vessel crews, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to resolve engineering issues.
- Maintain accurate technical records and documentation.
- Support compliance with safety procedures, engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with fault finding and troubleshooting activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and procedures.
- Support the optimisation of shoreside engineering systems and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Experience within marine, mechanical, electrical, welding, industrial or heavy engineering environments.
- Technical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with a range of stakeholders.
- A recognised engineering qualification degree level is desirable.
- Experience using maintenance management systems would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of engineering standards, safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Work like balance - Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
- Call out Only 1-4
- Paid time and half if called outside of standard hours
- Paid Double time if called out on Bank holidays
- 33 days holiday
- Onsite Parking
Candidates must have legal right to work within the UK and be able to commute daily to site
