General Operative - Christmas Work in Wharton

Great opportunity to work as a General Operative for our client, which processes and packs meat products for distribution to well-known supermarkets. Staffline is recruiting General Operatives in Winsford. The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour, increasing after 13 weeks of service to £13.00 per hour. This role offers both full and part time work, on rotating shifts. The hours of work are: - 5am to 5pm - 6am to 6pm - 4pm to 12:00am Occasionally: 8am to 4pm This position is to support the Christmas peak period, so regular shifts cannot be guaranteed until around mid to late November. It is preferred to have your own vehicle and driving licence as the public transport links would not get you to site for the shift times. Your Time at Work As a General Operative your duties include: - Shift start-up: Preparing meat products ready for placement onto production lines to be formed in various products (burgers, meatballs, etc.) - Debagging meat joints, Grading meat for quality and trimming meat into the correct sizes for production Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will be trustworthy, committed and hardworking. Applicants must be comfortable with heavy lifting, in a cold environment and working with raw meat. No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
