Overview
A great opportunity to work as a Security and Weighbridge Officer in a busy gatehouse environment for G4S, a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.
*Must have a full clean UK driving licence and your own transport and an SIA licence.*
*You must be comfortable using a PC and applications associated with a weighbridge program*
Role details
Position: Security Officer
Location: Bourneville
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 42 hours a week contract
Shifts: Mixed shift pattern – days, nights and weekends – 12 hour shifts from 7 to 7

Your Time at Work
Your duties include:
- Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Gatehouse duties – logging vehicles in and out using a weighbridge program
- Controlling access in and out of the building
- Patrolling the premises and ensuring security protocols are being adhered to
- Conducting searches when required
- Dealing with disturbances/issues and security incidents
- Dealing with first aid and incident reporting

It is crucial to have great communication and customer service skills. All admin is digital and paperless, so you\’ll need to be tech-savvy enough to use our digital devices.
Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times.
