Great opportunity to work as a Freezer Warehouse Operative at our client's busy site in Daventry. The rate of pay is:
- Days £16.01 per hour
- Nights £19.71 per hour
- Weekend £20.89 per hour
- Bank Holiday Days £23.40 per hour + Nights £27.10 per hour
This is a full-time role working 4 out of the 7 shifts, including weekend working. The hours of work available are:
- 7am to 7pm
- 7pm to 7am
Previous experience working in a warehouse/production environment is preferred, however, this is not essential as initial and ongoing training will be provided.
Your Time at Work
The responsibilities of a Freezer Warehouse Operative include:
- Picking and packing frozen food for the UK's leading supermarket.
- This role is physically demanding, involves manual handling, twisting and turning.
- Full PPE is provided for this role as the Warehouse operates at -25°C.
- The working day is based on 12 hours shifts, 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am.
- Working to meet customer performance standards.
- Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Performing other general warehouse duties as required.
- Having a key role in supporting our store colleagues by making sure orders are assembled correctly.
- Picking, stacking and manually handling stock items.
- Maintaining a clear and tidy warehouse and ensuring any potential hazards are dealt with safely, quickly and efficiently.
- Making sure stock is received, stored, packed and transported according to the highest standards.
- Taking responsibility for your own and others safety whilst at work.
- Working both independently and as part of a team.
