Brilliant opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's main distribution centre for supermarkets across the North of England. Earn up to £475.77 per week!
Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Sherburn in Elmet. The rate of pay is:
- First 12 weeks:
- Monday to Friday - £12.21 per hour
- Monday to Friday - £14.31 per hour
- Saturday - £13.17 per hour
- Saturday - £15.27 per hour
- Sunday - £13.72 per hour
- Sunday - £15.82 per hour
- Monday to Friday - £12.95 per hour
- Monday to Friday - £15.45 per hour
- Saturday - £13.91 per hour
- Saturday - £16.61 per hour
- Sunday - £14.46 per hour
- Sunday - £17.19 per hour
Overtime is available after working 40 hours and is paid at time and a half. This is a full-time role working rotating day shifts or fixed night shifts and the hours of work are:
- 6am to 2pm
- 2pm to 10pm
- 10pm to 6am
Applicants will have the willingness to work weekends.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
- Picking
- Dealing with goods in
- Driving MHE such as LLOPs
- Taking care to ensure products are stacked robustly
As a supermarket warehouse, there are departments that are temperature controlled. The majority of our colleagues work in the chill (4 degrees) and Ambient (not temperature controlled) department, and we also have produce (4 degrees) and Freezer (-20 degrees).
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker must be capable of lifting stock that can be up to 20kg (most are far lighter). You must also be willing to work in cold temperatures (5 degrees in the chill department). Applicants will show strong attention to detail, as picks are monitored and checked before being sent to stores, and have a hardworking mentality. Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
