Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Manchester. The rate of pay is £27,127 per annum. This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are: – 8:30am to 5pm Your Time at Work As a Warehouse Operative you will place goods into storage, picking stock and consolidating orders, and assist in the loading of vehicles. The job to be performed in a manner that enables the company to provide the best possible service to its customers and maximise environmental, health and safety performance. Key responsibilities include: – Discharging duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant legislation and Bunzl EHS policies. – Using all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices. – Ensuring the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy at all times, that spillages are promptly cleared and waste is minimised. – Receiving goods and checking into the warehouse accurately. – Placing goods correctly into storage bays. Ensure that stock is stored to allow safe storage, lifting and lowering – Assisting in loading vehicles, working with the driver to ensure compliance with all legal requirements on vehicle loading. You will have the ability to transport goods around a warehouse.
