Overview

Warehouse Operative at our client\’s busy distribution site for a leading UK supermarket. Brightwork is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to work in Bellshill.

Salary and hours

The rate of pay is:

  • First 12 weeks
  • 6am-2pm £12.36 per hour
  • 2pm-10pm £13.60 per hour
  • 10pm-6am £14.62 per hour
  • Overtime is available after 37.5 hours and is paid at £18.54 per hour
  • After 12 weeks
  • 6am-2pm £13.15 per hour
  • 2pm-10pm £14.47 per hour
  • 10pm-6am £15.55 per hour
  • Overtime is available after 40 hours and is paid at £19.73 per hour

This is a full-time role working 5 out of 7 and the hours of work are:

  • 6am to 2pm
  • 2pm to 10pm

Applicants must be over the age of 18!

There are various, flexible shifts available too at this site, these will include some weekends and may vary to meet business requirements. If you are looking for more flexibility please contact us for more details.

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Order Picker at this site, your duties will include:

  • Working in a busy environment picking various products
  • Working in a chilled environment with temperatures ranging from 2C – 8C
  • Operating manual handling equipment in order to pick items for orders
  • Working to targets set out for you by your supervisor

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Warehouse Order Picker has a keen eye for detail and works with accuracy to ensure that they are always selecting the best items for orders. You will be able to follow instructions and have great communication skills (good understanding of English, both verbal and written).

You are required to pass the Drug & Alcohol test and your own transport would be beneficial due to the location of the warehouse.

No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative as full training is provided.
