Allied Universal currently have an opportunity to join their team as a Security Account Manager, working at a corporate site in London! In this role, you will be expected to manage, monitor and mentor, but personally exemplify the high standards of presentation, excellent knowledge of security and maintaining first-rate customer service skills at all times. You will also be the spearhead of the Security team, as you will be the first point of contact for the client and stakeholders, and all the Security team.
With responsibility for all client locations in the UK, you will need to ensure that all of your staff are both welcoming and representative of the 'five-star' feel of the premises and our client that we are representing. Your role is effectively dual-natured in that you are expected to deliver day-to-day operations (encompassing staffing, Compliance, H&S, Reporting, physical security, etc.), and be looking to the future through developing a contract strategy that informs (and is informed by) our client's Risk Management process, encourages innovation, and ultimately delivers a proactive service for each location that meets the expectations laid out in our Contract Development plan.
Responsibilities
- Operate in a "strategic" space, delegating and assigning "tactical" tasks to Site Managers and Supervisors.
- Engage with our client and stakeholders as a matter of routine and become a trusted advisor.
- Based in Central London, onsite 5 days a week to directly support the teams with training, oversight, and day-to-day operations.
- Reporting to the Global Security Portfolio Manager, work closely with Anthropic clients and functional groups to help deliver cost-effective, pro-active security programs and services across London and Dublin.
- Occasional travel between London and Dublin (minimum quarterly).
- Attend weekly operational meetings/calls, with some out of hours (due to international time zones).
- Lead security-related communications and promote security awareness.
- Manage budget, oversee payroll, invoicing, recruitment and scheduling details related to assigned contract staff in the region.
- Deliver tailored training and audit programs to facilitate consistent quality program delivery.
- Assess security exposures and implement programs to address them, influencing stakeholders and clients as required.
- Maintain liaison with government, industry, and intelligence professionals.
- Respond to security emergencies.
Our Perfect Worker
- 5+ years security Management experience.
- Must include corporate experience preferably in the high technology sector.
- Be technology literate to include proficient in, or ability to learn systems including Microsoft and utilizing AI.
- Be willing to travel in support of business assignments.
- Ability to identify complex security issues and customize, implement/execute innovative processes and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in complex situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including presentation, reporting and consulting.
- Excellent conceptual and critical thinking skills and sound judgment, with strategic orientation and ability to perform tactically, as required.
- Able to conduct thorough briefings for large and small groups.
