Staffline is recruiting candidates to work as a Production Operative within an abattoir environment at our clients beef processing site. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and the hours of work are: - 6:30am to finish (around 1.30pm-2.30pm) The rate of pay is 13.59 per hour. Overtime is available and is paid at 17.00 per hour. Production bonuses ranging from 30 to 80 per week may be available based on performance! Duties to include packing tripe, weighing offal etc and trays can weigh 20-25kg. Your Time at Work The responsibilities of a Production Operative include: - Removing hides, heads and internal organs as required - Trimming and preparing carcasses for further processing, inspecting carcasses and identifying visible defects or contamination - Separating edible and non-edible by-products correctly - Maintaining the cleanliness of the workstation during operations - Following food safety, hygiene and biosecurity procedures - Working in line with health and safety regulations - Wearing required protective clothing and PPE at all times Our Perfect Worker Our ideal Production Operative will be flexible, reliable, and keep in line with health and safety standards.
