Production Operative | Newtownards | Shiftwork | £16.64 - £18+ per hour (plus OT) Staffline is currently seeking production operatives to join our client, a leading dairy manufacturer, on a long-term temporary basis at their site in Newtownards. Role: Reporting to the Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of various production lines on a rotational basis.
Duties:
Keeping production lines running. Calibrating/programming machinery. Conducting quality checks. Checking products for defects. Preparing of goods for dispatch. Reporting breakdowns, spillages, etc. Forklift driving (if/when qualified). Criteria: Flexible to work shifts. Previous warehouse/production experience preferred. Counterbalance forklift licence or willing to obtain one when in the post. Hours of work: Long week = 46 hours per week (4 days) Short week = 34.5 hours per week (3 days) Rotational shifts from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am. Rate of pay: £16.64 per hour (rising to £18.07 after training) Overtime paid after 37 hours.
