This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time. Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am - 3:00pm
- 10:00am - 6:00pm
Pay Rate:
- £14.15 per hour
Your Time at Work
As a Counterbalance Warehouse Operative your responsibilities include:
- Receive, unload, and organise incoming deliveries.
- Check goods against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Store stock safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
- Prepare shipments, including labelling and palletising.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
- Assist with stock checks and inventory control.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company standards.
Our Perfect Worker
What We're Looking For:
- Previous warehouse experience is essential.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence with the ability to undertake local deliveries.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
- Basic computer skills, including email and warehouse management systems.
- A flexible attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to carry out physical duties and safely lift moderate-weight items.
