We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional 7.5T Driver to join our client's team based in Cambridge. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries to their customers, while representing our company to a high standard. The rate of pay is £29,385 per annum, plus bonus. This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are: 7am to 4:30pm.
Your Time at Work
- Driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods across regional routes
- Loading and unloading goods safely
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in full
- Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld scanners
- Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Maintaining compliance with health & safety and driving regulations
- Providing excellent customer service on delivery
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker has good communication and time management skills. You will be physically fit, as some manual handling will be required. Applicants must have a valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN convictions), a Driver CPC qualification and a Digi Tacho card. Previous 7.5T driving experience and knowledge of the local area are essential.
