Apply today to work as a General Operative for our client's busy site. Staffline is recruiting General Operatives to work in Market Drayton. This is a full-time role working 4 on 4 off. Day or night shifts are available. The hours of work are:
- Days: 7am to 7pm
- Nights: 7pm to 7am
You will be required to be flexible to meet the demands of the business. The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour. Overtime is available after 4 shifts (44 hours) and is paid at £15.26 per hour.
Your Time at Work
As a General Operative at this site, your role will involve helping skilled operators in the factory to get products out to the supermarkets. You may work in a variety of different departments, depending on your skills and experience:
- Loading materials
- Sorting fruit
- Quality checking
- Some manual handling will be involved in this role.

Our ideal General Operative has a responsible attitude and focuses on the job at hand. You should be a quick learner, with a flexible approach to work. Some repetitive manual handling is required and you will be working on your feet for the duration of the shift. Previous experience within a similar role as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative would be beneficial, however, this is not necessary as full training will be provided.
