Support Worker (Female Only) | Lisburn | £13.45 per hour Staffline Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading disability support organisation for a dedicated Female Support Worker to join their Supported Living Service in the Lisburn area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults living with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, neurological conditions, and acquired brain injuries. Hours Available 20 hours per week 35 hours per week Permanent contracts 3-week rolling rota Shifts: 8:00am to 3:00pm and 3:00pm to 9/10pm Flexibility required, including weekends, bank holidays and unsociable hours on a rotational basis The Role As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to adults in a supported living environment, helping individuals maintain independence and achieve their personal goals. Responsibilities include: Supporting service users with daily living activities Providing personal care where required Promoting independence and community inclusion Assisting with social, leisure, and life skills activities Supporting medication administration in line with policy Maintaining accurate records and documentation Participating in cleaning, household tasks and food preparation Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team Essential Criteria Minimum 6 months' caring experience (paid or personal caring responsibilities) Effective verbal and written communication skills Interest in supporting people within a care environment Awareness of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities Benefits 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata) Paid breaks Paid NISCC registration fees Funded training and development opportunities, including QCF Level 3 Enhanced bank holiday rates Pension scheme Occupational sick pay Health Cashback Scheme Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 GP access Retail discount scheme Cycle to Work scheme Important Information Female applicants only.
