Warehouse Operative position for a UK leading supermarket. Staffline is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work in Northampton. This is a full-time role, working any 5 days out of 7.
The hours of work are:
- Chilled: 6am to 2pm & 1pm to 9pm
- Ambient: 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm
- Produce: 1pm to 9pm
The rate of pay is £13.46 per hour with overtime available, paid up to £21.74 per hour. There is a performance bonus up to £6 per hour available.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative, your role will include:
- Voice picking using LLOPs in an ambient environment.
- Picking and packing cages and pallets in a chilled environment.
- Ensuring all picking is completed to the required standards.
- Using MHE and other warehouse duties as required.
This role is physically demanding, involves manual handling, twisting and turning. Heavy lifting of up to 25kg is involved in this role.

- Make sure stock is received, stored, packed and transported according to the highest standards.
- Take responsibility for your own and others' safety whilst at work.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
