Overview
LONG TERM TRUNKING WORK ALL YEAR ROUND
NEWLY QUALIFIED LGV1, HGV1, C+E, LGV 1, HGV 1 CLASS 1 DRIVERS WELCOME
IMMEDIATE STARTS, ALL SHIFTS PLANNED A WEEK IN ADVANCE
FULL TIME – PART TIME – WEEKENDS
Staffline is recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers with immediate starts for our client based out of Beeston, Nottingham.
Peak Rates payable for all shifts between 26th August and 31st December 2025:
- Days (06:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 13:59 Fridays) – £16.90 per hour
- Nights (18:00 – 05:59 Monday to Friday) – £17.80 per hour
- Weekends (Friday 14:00 to Sunday 23:59) – £22.20 per hour
- Overtime – £25.35 per hour on Days / £26.70 per hour on Nights
- Bank Holiday Days – £25.35 per hour
- Bank Holiday Nights – £26.70 per hour
On top of these peak rates, there is a retention bonus paid in January based on attendance at £1 per hour for all hours worked between August 26th and December 31st.
Staffline are delighted to offer regular trunking work on all shift patterns. All shifts are planned, confirmed and in placed at least one week in advance.

Your Time at Work
As an HGV Class 1 driver, the work will involve Class 1 depot delivery work. You will be responsible for all aspects of trunking work throughout East Midlands and other counties. This position requires NO HEAVY MANUAL HANDLING, only occasional collections and deliveries of cages via a tail lift. Our client\’s continuous growth is a testimony to their increasing success and this site operates all year round so will provide each driver with a long term ongoing assignment.

As an LGV1 driver, you will ideally have –
- No more than 6 points
- Digi card and DCPC
Interviews will be held immediately.
