Great opportunity to work as an HGV Class 1 Driver for our client which deals with delivering ambient products. Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Port Sunlight. Consolidated rates, £16.25 - £20.97 per hour. Adhoc work available with various start times.
Your Time at Work
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Our Perfect Worker
- Excellent communication skills and ability to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety.
- Able to report defects correctly.
- Comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
- Understand and comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation.
Qualifications
- Hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards.
- Minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points and no DD/DR Code convictions.
