Great opportunity to work as an HGV Class 1 Driver

for our clients nationwide, palletised temperature-controlled distribution delivering to major RDC\’s wholesalers and industrial customers.

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious client\’s site based in Stafford.

Consolidated pay rates £17.35 – £21.85 per hour.

Fixed shift patterns and Adhoc work available.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Class 1 Driver your duties include:

  • Nationwide deliveries and collections for many customers
  • Trunking, store deliveries, or RDC runs (depending on the role)
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations
