General Operatives

Staffline Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, Hurricane Windows & Doors, a busy and growing door and window manufacturing company based in Ballymoney, for a General Operative to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking to gain experience within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day production process, operate manufacturing machinery, carry out quality checks, and support stores operations to ensure the smooth running of the facility. Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour Location: Ballymoney Contract: Temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:30pm Friday: 7:00am - 12:30pm Key Responsibilities Operate manufacturing machinery throughout the production process, following the required procedures and instructions. Accurately input production information into machinery, including colour codes and product specifications. Prepare, handle, and move materials safely and efficiently. Carry out quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required standards. Assist with general production duties to support daily manufacturing targets. Complete stores duties, including moving, organising, and managing stock. Ensure materials are stored correctly and are readily available when required. Maintain clean, tidy, and organised production and storage areas. Follow all health and safety procedures and company guidelines. Work effectively as part of a team to meet production deadlines. What We're Looking For Previous experience in manufacturing or operating machinery is desirable but not essential. A reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude. Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. A willingness to learn new skills and work with manufacturing equipment. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and high standards in the workplace. Full training will be provided on machinery, production processes, and company procedures. What's on Offer? Competitive pay rate of £13.50 per hour. Monday-to-Friday working hours, with an early finish on Fridays. An initial 16-week temporary assignment, with the opportunity to secure permanent employment following a successful probationary period. Full training and ongoing support.
