Staffline is now recruiting Forklift Truck Drivers for our client in Sittingbourne.

The rate of pay is:
– Days £16.65 per hour
– Nights £18.45 per hour
This is a full-time role working on a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern.
Experience in a similar role is required.
Your Time at Work
As a Fork Lift Driver, your duties would include:
– Operating a forklift safely to run production operations and service haulers.
– Working consistently to quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
– Having a key contact for all haulers on-site
– Vacuuming Lift Operation to sort CHEP pallets to specific standards
– Ensuring trucks and equipment are well maintained and report operational problems, including damage to trucks or other property.
– Safely and efficiently direct visiting vehicles whilst loading and offloading goods.
– Carefully handle and store the company\’s hire stock while following required stock rotations

Our perfect worker will show good communication and interpersonal skills while showing you are approachable, adaptable, and flexible approach to match the needs of the operation. You need to be physically fit as manual pallet handling is part of daily tasks.
You will have a strong safety mindset and have the ability to plan and manage time effectively.
Experience Required:
– Working within a fast-paced warehouse yard (or similar) environment
– Communicating with Haulers
– Counterbalance Forklift operation experience – minimum 2 years
– Basic understanding of warehouse management systems
– Beginner-level CI and Problem-Solving Skills
– Ability to use technology and systems for processing vehicles
– Operating MHE
