We are recruiting for a Deputy On-Boarding Lead to work on our prestigious contract at Hinkley Point C in Somerset.
Location: Bridgwater
Hours: 40 hours per week - working Mon-Fri, an early start is expected (subject to operational requirements and may change in the future. Flexibility is required in relation to working start and end times). Further information will be provided during the interview.
Pay rate: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum depending on experience
Supporting the On-Boarding Lead, you will manage the on-boarding process for the HPC workforce, including the daily operations of the off-site Induction facility. Your responsibilities will include coordinating internal activities, maximizing throughput, and minimizing delays. You will also deputize for the On-Boarding Lead and oversee the Induction Service, as well as line manage Induction Coordinators and Facilitators.
Your Time at Work Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the HPC Induction Centre and service delivery.
- Coordinate the Induction team's activities.
- Support processing of the HPC Workforce and manage the HPC Project Introduction.
- Line manages the Induction team.
- Assist in managing Health, Safety & Environment.
- Ensure the Induction Facility meets project demands.
- Maintain effective communication with contract organisations.
- Resolve conflicts harmoniously.
- Produce internal documentation and review policies.
- Support workforce reporting and the recruitment process.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and data protection.
- Administrator of WIMS On-boarding system including delivering system training sessions and ongoing contractor support.
Our Perfect Worker You must have excellent customer facing skills, IT skills, be highly organised and able to communicate confidently with senior internal and external stakeholders. Experience in technical training delivery or training administration is preferred but not essential.
Preferred Experience:
- Managing a complex, multidisciplinary administrative service across functional reporting lines (potentially including external parties)
- Experience of records management
- Implementing processes and procedures and maintaining compliance of these
- Experience coordinating a multi discipline team
- Motivated to drive and support project delivery
Specific occupational requirements:
- Ability to pass and hold National Security Clearance Vetting
- UK Driving License is essential
- Produce a five year verifiable work history
