We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Drivers to join a well-established site near Driffield. For the right person, there is guaranteed ongoing work beyond the peak season. The rate of pay is £13.21 per hour, weekends £14.21 per hour This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, and the hours of work are: – 6am to 6pm – 6pm to 6am We are looking for several drivers – Day shifts available along with Nights – these shifts are fixed. Applicants must have their own transport due to the rural location of the site. Important information: – Training period: Until 20th June, your working pattern will be Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 6:00pm while you complete full on-site training. – Peak season: From 20th June to the first week of September, your shift will change to Friday to Sunday, 6:00am – 6:00pm. – Weekend working is essential during this time, as this is the site\’s busiest season. Weekend premiums will apply. – After peak season, the role will return to the standard Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 6:00pm shift. Your Time at Work As a Counterbalance Driver, you will be responsible for: – Operating a reach truck to move, stack, and organise goods – Loading and unloading deliveries – Stock handling and general warehouse duties – Maintaining a clean, safe work environment – Following all health and safety procedures Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will be reliable and hard-working, with a positive attitude and be committed to work weekends during the summer peak season. Applicants must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. A valid Counterbalance licence with recent experience is required.
