Consolidated pay rates: £16.25 - £22.99 per hour. Adhoc work available with various start times.
Your Time at Work:
- As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for general haulage depot, delivering for a number of customers. Ambient work trunked into depot for onward delivery.
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Our Perfect Worker:
- Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
- You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation.
- You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points and no DD/DR Code convictions.
