Role and Responsibilities - Lead Engineer In this brand-new role for an ever-growing business, you will be responsible for leading the definition, development, integration and certification of advanced hydro review and approve supplier analyses, design outputs, qualification evidence, and change proposals. Own the creation and control of system architectures, functional models, and interface definitions across mechanical, software, and electronics Own the system integration strategy, ensuring elements integrate with accuracy and controlled interfaces. Champion continuous improvement of systems engineering processes and tools. Experience or Qualifications - Lead Engineer Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical/Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering Extensive engineering experience with aerospace actuation systems or high-integrity systems. Proven experience leading supplier technical activities. Experience with modelling/simulation tools and MBSE/SysML (Desirable) Candidate must be a UK National, capable of obtaining BPSS or SC clearance due to projects of work being carried out in this role!
