I am looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with an Engineering background for my client, a globally renowned precision engineering business who are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their expanding team working on classified and cutting edge projects. Their role is to carry out inspection activities. This will include, but is not limited to, product and process audits, supporting ongoing continuous improvement activities throughout the business, using electronic and manual measuring tools as well as development of a team culture within the inspection team.

Key responsibilities- In this role you will be responsible for a variety of inspection on all machined parts against the design intent. This will be to meet customer expectations and specifications so that they are maintained at the highest level.
- To carry out First Article/First Off inspection for components that require going through the CMM.
- Ensure that there are detailed inspection plans for all parts and that such plans are issue controlled; this includes CMM programs.
- Working closely with Production to ensure that quantities are met.
- Previous experience in a Quality Inspection role within a machine shop environment.
- Knowledge of operating medium/large CMM machines.
- History of working within highly regulated industries, producing high quality machined components to tight tolerances.
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment i.e. PCDmis CMM, Modus CMM, Verniers, Height Gauges, Micrometres and Shadow Graphs.
