The rate of pay is:

  • Day rate £12.52 per hour
  • Night rate £15.65 per hour

This role offers both full and part-time positions, working rotating shifts, 4 on 4 off and the hours of work are:

  • 6am to 6pm
  • 6pm to 6am

The candidate must be flexible to work both day and night shifts, including weekends (weekend nights are essential).

Your Time at Work

As a Bakery Operative you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering the best possible production of our products in alignment with site and customer requirements and standards; ensuring this is maintained across the bakery environment.
  • To have a high degree of accuracy; fulfil orders in an efficient manner.
  • Operating and maintaining machinery within the factory as operationally required in accordance with food and health & safety standards and procedures.
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the working environment, following cleaning best practice procedure.
  • Completing all hygiene documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participating in customer visits and audits as required.
  • There will be some manual handling included in this role.

We have multiple roles available across different sectors, and flexible workers are welcome. Good level of English is required to communicate clearly and quickly with the team.

  • Physically fit due to repetitive movements and standing for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good attention to detail and have good communication in English.
  • Ability to stand for long periods during shifts.
  • Comfortable with lifting and carrying trays or bags of ingredients (up to 20kg).
  • Working in a warm environment near ovens and machinery.
  • Performing repetitive tasks such as labeling, picking and packing products.
