Rates including holiday pay £16.25 - £20.97 per hour. Adhoc work available with various start times. Fixed shifts are also available, working Sunday to Thursday and Wednesday to Sunday on AM or PM.
Your Time at Work
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Our Perfect Worker
- Excellent communication skills and ability to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety.
- Ability to report defects correctly.
- Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements.
- Understanding and compliance with the driver's hours and WTD legislation.
- Hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards.
- A minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points and no DD/DR Code convictions.
