Staffline Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Transport Coordinator based in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation, coordinating transport operations and ensuring an efficient, high-quality service is delivered to customers and stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing transport schedules, liaising with drivers and customers, and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. A late shift will be required on a rota basis, shared across the team.

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule transport operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Act as a key point of contact for drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor transport schedules and respond promptly to any operational issues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant transport regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and transport documentation.
  • Support route planning and resource allocation to maximise efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries in a professional manner.
  • Work closely with the wider operations team to ensure service targets are achieved.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a transport, logistics, scheduling, or coordination role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good IT skills, including experience using scheduling or transport management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
