About the Role: Staffline is recruiting a Waste Manager to lead and develop waste operations including collections, street cleansing, recycling centres, and bin deliveries. You will manage staff, facilities, budgets, and ensure services meet high standards and continuously improve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Council's waste operations service.
  • Oversee waste collections, street cleansing, recycling centres, and bin deliveries.
  • Manage budgets, staff performance, training, and operational plans.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and Council policies.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Environmental Management (or 5+ years' relevant experience).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing waste operations, staff, and budgets.
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Full driving licence or suitable transport; flexibility for evenings/weekends.
