Warehouse Operative (Mid shift) Newry Temporary – Permanent The Role: Our client based in Newry require Warehouse Operatives to join their company and become an integral part of the team. Working with an award-winning team you will work passionately to achieve our goals and support or communities. The Role: To accurately pick and scan orders using the RF guns To minimise missed sales and losses to the company through accurate picking To work efficiently as part of a team To keep work area clean and tidy, being responsible for the general maintenance of warehouse floor To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work To build and pack out pick location to ensure adequate supply of products in pick location. Communicate any stock issues with the Stock Department ensuring they are addressed as quickly as possible Ensure procedures and team targets are achieved Report any areas of concern to the Warehouse Manager Continually improve stock operations by recommending measures to improve quality of service and efficiency Maintain a safe working environment that complies with all aspects of the company\’s H&S Policy To act as an ambassador for our client and always behave in a professional and courteous manner Hours of work: Mon – Thurs 2.30pm – 11.15pm, Fri 2.30pm – 9:15pm Essential Requirements: Grade C or above in GCSE Maths & English Experience working within a warehouse environment. Physical and manual dexterity Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Flexible approach to work Excellent communication skills/planning and organisational skills Desired Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in warehousing/retail 2-3 years experience working in a similar environment Experience of voice activated picking In Return: Rates of Pay: £11.60 – £12.10 per hour 31 days Annual Leave (inclusive of 3 stat days – Christmas day, Boxing Day and New Years day) Health Cash Plan Company Rewards EAP services EOT Bonus twice a year Perks directory card SMART Pension Scheme Staff Discount from our warehouse Company events Life assurance scheme at x4 employee\’s salary Why use Staffline?
