A growing and highly regarded accountancy firm is expanding its advisory team and is seeking an Innovation Taxes Manager to lead client engagements and drive the delivery of complex tax relief claims. The Opportunity
You will take a leading role in managing innovation tax claims from inception through to submission, working with a broad portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. This role offers a strong blend of technical delivery, client interaction, and the opportunity to shape and grow a specialist service line.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of innovation tax and R&D tax relief claims
- Work closely with clients to gather and interpret technical and financial information
- Liaise with HMRC throughout the claims process
- Collaborate with internal teams and external technical specialists
- Ensure accurate and compliant claim submissions
- Support business development initiatives within the innovation tax space
- Deliver presentations, workshops, or seminars to clients and internal teams
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- ACA or CTA qualified
- 3+ years post-qualification experience
- Strong experience in R&D Tax Relief and/or Innovation Taxes
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and technical projects
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
