Quality Assurance & Quality Systems Manager

Overview
A leading manufacturer of high-voltage electronic components for industrial, medical, defence, and energy applications is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance & Quality Systems Manager. This role will lead quality performance across the organisation, ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and embedding a strong quality culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, monitor, and improve ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
- Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of actions.
- Review, update, and implement quality procedures, policies, and work instructions.
- Oversee product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Manage non-conformance investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Facilitate structured problem-solving, including 8D and root-cause analysis.
- Manage customer quality concerns, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
- Develop supplier quality performance through engagement and issue resolution.
- Prepare and present quality metrics and reports to senior management and customers.
- Lead lean and Six Sigma improvement initiatives across production and support teams.
- Identify improvement opportunities to increase product reliability and reduce waste.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed quality best practice.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (or equivalent).
- Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years\’ experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Systems within manufacturing (electronics or precision engineering advantageous).
- Strong understanding of quality tools : FMEA, SPC, control plans, audit processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday : 08 : 00 – 16 : 30
- Friday : 08 : 00 – 15 : 00
- Overtime may be required during peak demand.
