Staffline are working on behalf of our client based in Antrim who are one of the UK and Ireland's leading architectural aluminium systems companies, specialising in the innovative design and distribution of purpose designed window, door and curtain walling systems. We are currently seeking to recruit a Production Operative to join the team at our Antrim facility. The successful candidate will work as part of their production team producing bespoke components to complement our façade systems.
Working across our production departments, the successful candidate will be involved in the processing of aluminium profiles and components:
- Performing all duties in the production of our aluminium products.
- Working to planned production schedules in a timely manner.
- Completing all appropriate documentation in relation to production.
- Ensuring product is produced to the required quality standards.
- Observing all Health and Safety requirements and utilising all safety equipment.
- Maintaining and cleaning machines and the general production facility.
Job Criteria:
- GCSE's or equivalent in Maths and English is desirable.
- General IT skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good levels of oral and written English plus numeric ability.
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment with machines and tools such as auto-saws, punches, CNC'ing, drilling and tapping would be desirable.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and work ethic.
- Reliable attendance and timekeeping.
- Good communication levels.
- Willingness to learn and progress.
