Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate of pay plus bonus

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: Mon - Thurs 8:00am - 5:00pm & Fri 8am - 2.30pm

About the Role:

Staffline is recruiting an Electrician for a leading manufacturing company in Derry/Londonderry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a permanent role and join a dynamic team in a modern, industrial environment. This role is ideal for a qualified industrial electrician, maintenance electrician or electrical technician with manufacturing experience.

Main Duties:

  • Responsible for the electrical wiring and mechanical assembly of LV/MV switchgear and control panels.
  • Ensure all work meets engineering drawings, production timescales and strict quality standards.
  • Work on electrical switchgear assembly and electro mechanical systems.
  • Contribute to the fitting, building and construction of various parts for seamless component integration.
  • Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance, including site modifications and thermal imaging inspections.
  • Complete testing of panels, including current injection testing.

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds Electrical qualification and an Engineering Apprenticeship with AM2 or equivalent.
  • Current 17th Edition certification.
  • Experience in Electrical switchgear manufacture or similar.
  • Experience in field service work / on-site installations.
