Staffline Ireland is currently seeking an Office/Booking Administrator to join our client, a leading shipping organisation on a long-term, temporary to permanent basis, at their site in the Duncrue area.
Key Responsibilities
- Container Import and Export Activities: System Utilization: Leverage logistics and inventory management software to facilitate container import/export operations. This includes ensuring all relevant data (container details, shipment tracking, customs clearance) is accurately recorded and updated in the system.
- Inventory Planning/Execution: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., warehouse, shipping) to ensure that containers are efficiently processed, with inventory levels appropriately adjusted after each import/export.
- Systematic Filing and Records Organization: Document Management: Create and maintain an organised filing system for import/export documentation, including customs declarations, shipping invoices, bills of lading, and packing lists. Efficient Filing: Ensure that all records are filed in a systematic and easily accessible manner to facilitate future reference and audits.
- Communication and Customer Service: Phone and Email Support: Address phone and email queries promptly, ensuring customers receive clear and accurate information related to their shipments, inventory, and other logistics-related issues. Customer Service Skills: Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor, providing timely updates, resolving issues, and offering solutions to improve customer satisfaction.
- Additional Administrative Tasks: Assist with other administrative duties, such as processing shipments, preparing reports, and handling logistics-related paperwork, to support the smooth flow of operations.
