Staffline Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client Cranswick, one of the largest Agri-Manufacturing businesses in the UK. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team based in Cullybackey.
Role Overview
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all electrical, mechanical, and automated systems within a modern, fast-paced food production facility. You will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of key equipment, supporting continuous production, and minimising downtime. This role offers autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic and growing environment.
Pay & Hours
- Pay Rate: £19.46 per hour
- Hours per Week: 37.5
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday (weekend work as required) 4:00am - 12:30pm, 12:00pm - 8:30pm
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Essential Criteria
- Time-served Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineer
- Minimum 2 years' recent experience in an industrial or high-volume production environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proven experience in fault-finding and working with electrical control panels
- Highly self-motivated, able to work effectively in a fast-paced and pressurised environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Key Duties
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Carry out installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical production machinery
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently and accurately
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to required standards
- Provide technical support to operational teams
- Maintain site infrastructure to a high standard
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance
- Use the on-site CMMS to support efficiency and cost-saving initiatives
- Adhere to all food safety, quality, legal, and environmental requirements
