Job Summary
Staffline is currently seeking a Band 2 Catering Assistant for a temporary role at Antrim Hospital. As part of the hospital's catering team, you will be responsible for a variety of food service and cleaning duties, ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties in the kitchen, dining areas, and associated spaces, including vending machines.
- Assist with food service, plate meals for clients and staff, and replenish food supplies as needed.
- Support the preparation of vegetables, fruits, salads, and beverages, following departmental food safety procedures.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to during receipt, storage, regeneration, and temperature control of meals.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and hygienic practices in line with the Food Hygiene (General) Regulations (NI) 1996.
